ANA Junior Inspiration Qualification Criteria
The ANA Junior Inspiration field is made up of 40 amateurs, who qualify to play in the event through the following criteria.
- The top ranked amateur from each of ANA's 11 North American gateway cities*, based on the ANA Priority Mileage Points standings.
- Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
- San Jose, CA (SJC)
- San Francisco, CA (SFO)
- Seattle, WA (SEA)
- Vancouver, Canada (YVR)
- Chicago, IL (ORD)
- New York, NY (JFK)
- Washington, D.C. (IAD)
- Houston, TX (IAH)
- Honolulu, HI (HNL)
- Mexico City, Mexico (MEX)
- The top 29 in the overall ANA Priority Mileage Point standings, not otherwise qualified.
ANA Priority Mileage Points are based on total points earned in AJGA Ranked tournaments starting February 12, 2016 through January 16, 2017.
Initial invitations will be sent based on ANA Priority Mileage Points standings updated January 17, 2017. Point standings will not change for any subsequent invitations.
Only AJGA members are eligible.
Should the winner of the ANA Junior Inspiration already be in the tournament field for the ANA Inspiration, the exemption spot will be awarded to the next highest ANA Junior Inspiration finisher or by order of finish in a playoff, if necessary.
*Amateur must live within a 50-mile radius from the nearest gateway city airport listed.
Who is eligible to qualify for the ANA Junior Inspiration?
The ANA Junior Inspiration is an AJGA sanctioned invitational event. You must be an AJGA member to have the opportunity to qualify for the event. For more information on becoming an AJGA member, visit AJGA.org.
